Is SWTOR still successful?

The answer is a resounding yes.

Star Wars: The Old Republic had many different servers, some of which were very quiet. Then, the developers decided to merge them into 5 mega servers.

The merging of servers allowed more interactions between the players, as it made the group finder handier. As a result, all of the five servers became very active, and all now have a big population of players.

Then, the developers put a lot of work into making SWTOR available on Steam. That move introduced the game to gamers who had never heard of it. Furthermore, it reintroduced SWTOR to the people who have abandoned and may have forgotten the game.

The Mandalorians’ second season also helped inspire people to play the game.

And so, SWTOR saw a huge increase in the gamer population.
